Viva Norteno! Viva Mexico!

OK with all the turmoil in Mexico's govnt and cartel it was good to hear then read some good news. LOS TIGRES DEL NORTE!!! THere is a very, and I mean deep seeded love for this band. I danced to them as a teenager, so it was a bit surpirsing to find out my boss's friend was going to see them in NYC soon.

Im kind of floored that they are kitch now. My parents and all my extended family know and love them. They are a staple in Northen Mexico's music culture and the two-step we all learned how to dance at a very young age.


I do feel like letting out a loud mexican yell...! :)
